摘要：吸血鬼文化作为哥特文化中最具代表性的意象之一，经历了从恐怖，冷血到逐渐人性化的转变。因此，很多作家，电影人，都试图通过这一意象来研究并表现哥特文化在不同时期的特点和带来的影响。其中，1994年上映的由安妮赖斯的同名小说改编的电影《夜访吸血鬼》，则无疑是最具代表性的作品之一。他描绘了主人公从人类到吸血鬼的转变，以及其对自身认识的转变，同时也对应了哥特文化在历史上不同的发展阶段。

 -本文试图从这部电影所描述的三个不同时期，不同地点，主人公内心的变化以及社会各界在不同的时间段对于吸血鬼这一形象的看法出发，深度讨论哥特文化在不同时期所具有的特性，以及对社会所产生的影响，并且由此引发哥特文化在以后社会的发展和存在的意义的思考。
