摘要：在中西方文化交流的过程中，翻译起着举足轻重的作用。随着跨文化交流的日益频繁，“文化差异及其影响”成为了一个重要课题。

文化与语言是密不可分的，二者相互依存、相互影响。文化是语言的来源，而语言是文化的载体，文化差异必然体现在语言表达上。翻译是语言之间的转换，因此，文化差异对翻译的影响是不可避免的。译者在翻译的过程中，必须了解文化差异对翻译的影响及其应对策略才能准确地进行语言的转换。

本文从中西方文化差异的角度出发，通过探究文化、语言和翻译三者之间的关系，并从地理环境、风俗习惯、宗教信仰、思维方式等方面分析文化差异在语言上的体现及其对翻译的影响，进而提出常见的处理文化差异的翻译策略。
