摘要：《阿拉比》作为《都柏林人》描写童年的最后一篇，其蕴含了非常深刻的意义。这里面主人公的一些生活场景在一定程度上反映了作者詹姆斯·乔伊斯的经历，并且意在充分展现一个衰败、黑暗的社会环境。这里的北里奇蒙德大街就是当时爱尔兰社会的缩影。而住在这条街上的形形色色的居民就是当时爱尔兰社会中，一些典型人群的映射。在这种充斥着堕落的环境中人性必将走向幻灭。
