中文摘要：家庭教育是所有教育中最原始也是最重要的一种教育形式。家庭教育对孩子的思想观念的形成与发展起着至关重要的作用。美国华裔作家谭恩美的《喜福会》讲了四对母女（华裔母亲和美国女儿）（母亲素媛和女儿君、母亲林多和女儿薇莉、母亲莺莺和女儿李娜、母亲安美和女儿罗丝）的生活故事。小说中通过讲述四位母亲教育女儿的故事，体现了中美家庭教育的不同。本文以《喜福会》为例，对中美文化的差异来进行比较发现中美家庭教育差异的深层原因。并且联系国内外实际情况，对我国教育提出建议，真正的做到中美家庭教育的完美融合。
