摘要：由英国作家J.R.R.托尔金创作的长篇史诗奇幻小说《魔戒》是现代文学史上开创性的作品,它被公认为现代奇幻文学的鼻祖。读者在阅读《魔戒》时通常会被它恢弘的故事，奇特的背景设定所以吸引，往往忽略了作者在角色塑造上的多样性，尤其是故事中为数不多的女性角色。本文通过文本细读,对《魔戒》中精灵公主亚玟、精灵女皇凯兰崔尔和女骑士伊欧玟三位主要女性角色进行分析，以期为《魔戒》系列小说提供从女性角色出发的新研究视角。本文角色分析部分主要分为：第一，主要女性角色在情节中的作用和对故事走向的影响；第二，三个主要女性角色的独特的个性特点；第三，主要女性角色各自展现的非常规女性美。最后，立足于当下对女性的审美标准的单一等缺点，通过对以上角色进行分析，我们可以从这些女性角色的所展现的非传统女性美中，得到一些关于现代女性自我意识的借鉴与启发，即女性审美意识多样化，提高女性性别平等意识，注重女性文化素养的提升。引发现代女性思考，冲破传统审美的束缚，做新时代独立女性。
