摘要：阅读是英语学习的一个重要的部分。在传统的英语阅读课程教学中，老师往往将文章中的词汇，句型，语法等知识点作为阅读重点，而忽视了培养学生的思维能力。笔者通过对人教版九年级英语教材的阅读材料体裁的统计和分析，发现其中记叙文是占比最多的阅读题材。因此，针对以上的问题和发现，该论文将从记叙文切入，运用思维导图，对其进行教学设计。本文将从四个章节展开论述，分别是简介、文献综述、基于PWP模式下思维导图在初中记叙文中的应用以及总结。

本文将探索初中英语记叙文阅读课对于思维导图的应用。并由读前、读中、读后（PWP）三个板块，结合初中教材记叙文阅读材料，探索并举例说明思维导图在初中记叙文阅读中的应用。

通过本文探究发现：思维导图在读前、读中、读后对于记叙文阅读有不同的形式和所对应的作用。思维导图在初中记叙文阅读中的应用不仅能调动学生学习兴趣，还能起着使逻辑清晰、信息点明确等作用。但本文研究仅仅针对于记叙文体裁，不能简单地直接延伸于初中阅读材料的其他体裁，有一定的局限性。
