摘要：英语教学是我国素质教育中极为重要的外语教学课程，而英语教学注重培养学生的多方面技能，阅读教学是其中一个重要部分，是培养学生语言运用能力的重要途径，更是发展学生批判性思维的关键所在。在初中英语教学中，教师应该给予高度重视，合理设计教学内容，优化教学方式。因此，教师在教学中要树立批判性的教学理念，采取对策，培养学生的批判性性阅读能力。

首先本文针对批判性思维和英语阅读教学课进行分析，其次结合初中公开课视频，观察、分析和总结如何在初中英语阅读教学中培养学生批判性思维的具体措施，如何为学生创造合理的教学情境从而培养学生的批判性思维。

批判性思维作为当代英语学科核心素养内容，必须将其作为重点，激发学生思维，从而达到培养学生批判性思维的目的。
