摘要：十八世纪的英国，是一个社交活动非常频繁的社会，人们的一切活动似乎都离不开交际，交际是通过言语的交流实现的。《傲慢与偏见》是当时社会的缩影，奥斯汀运用了最精湛的语言，或讥或讽、或褒或贬地刻画出不同人物的情感交流。借助语用学理论分析小说《傲慢与偏见》的语言特色，可以更加清楚地反映语言形式与使用者之间的关系，揭示小说人物的鲜明性格和交际意图。

本文拟从语用学的角度，利用关联理论对该小说中的一些人物之间的对白和情景进行语用分析。本文以简·奥斯汀的小说《傲慢与偏见》的人物对话为例，对小说的人物对白时产生的言语误解现象进行定性和定量分析，探索人物性格特征，心理活动，情感以及情节发展，从而达到对这几个人物和小说有更深入的理解的目的。
