摘要：随着全球化的深入发展，文化的影响日益重要，语言既是文化的载体，又是文化的写照。就语言与文化的关系而言，语音与文化的关系最不密切，语法次之，而关系最密切反应最直接的是词汇。本研究通过中西文化对花木词汇意义的对比研究,试图揭示中英花木词语语义差异的规律及产生这种差异的深层原因。首先，本文深入探讨各国学者对中西文化的看法和研究，其次对比中西方花木词汇在概念意义和内涵意义方面的差异，最后分析产生不同内涵意义的原因并得出相关的结论。
