摘要:众所周知,英语词汇学习在英语教学中是至关重要的。词汇量的不足将严重影响学习者各种语言能力的培养与提升,可以说拥有词汇量的大小很大程度上就决定着整个外语水平。因此,如何有效帮助引导学生熟记单词,扩大词汇量便成为英语教学的关键。 -本论文首先阐述了范畴化理论。接着对当前初中英语词汇教学现状进行了问卷调查,并基于范畴化理论对调查结果进行反思和总结,发现词汇教学中普遍存在一些问题,包括学生们花费了大量的时间,精力去记了新词,却又忘了旧词。由于缺乏连贯性的系统的复习,很容易导致遗忘,便产生徒劳无功的感知,打击学生的学习信心,又缺乏有效的多样化的记忆方法,一味机械记忆容易产生厌倦情绪,从而影响学习效果。论文在分析初中英语词汇教学效果不佳问题原因的基础上,基于范畴化理论,提出了有效的英语词汇教学策略,包括基本词汇教学,上属和下级词汇的教学和隐喻词汇教学等,以便教师指导学生更有效地学习英语词汇,从而提高英语教学效果。
