摘要：古诗词翻译作为翻译的重点，一直是翻译中最难处理的问题。随着世界各国间政治经济交往频繁，许多国家领导人在各类报告演讲中引用中国古诗词句，政治性辞令口语翻译的重要性日益突出。

古诗词作为博大精深的中华传统文化中的一部分，在传统的笔译中不可省略其文化特质，相比起笔译，口译古诗词在不同场合下的运用意义功能皆不相同，在政府类辞令中应更加突出其交际功能，充分考虑语境的复杂多变性，并在此基础上做到译文流畅优美。 

-彼得,纽马克是英国著名翻译家，他在所著的《翻译问题探讨》一书中提出了语义翻译和交际翻译的理论观。众所周知，严复先生提出的信达雅是翻译界公认的标准。纽马克所提出的交际翻译理论，和严复先生的信、达有相似之处，但是交际翻译更加强调传达原文信息。值得一提的是，交际翻译理论偏重能够从听者的角度去诠释译文。他强调译文要尽量完整保留原文本意，不拘泥于字句形式，简洁明了，这一理论对于信息类、文本类的翻译十分适用。因此，在政府会议发言、政治演说类的英译，可以适当运用此翻译方法。

-作为口译员，必须拥有丰富的翻译技巧，不仅要准确释义，解释其特定语境下古诗词的含意，有时更需传达译文的文化内涵，将这寥寥数字的内涵和功能充分表达。在拥有相当的理论储备基础上，口译古诗词还应当结合口译的鲜明特色，在政府文件、外交辞令中充分体现其外交、交际功能。

总之，纽马克的翻译理论对政府会议发言中的古诗词口译有启发性意义，本文通过研究传统古诗词翻译和外交辞令中的古诗词口译，对比分析其差异，结合交际翻译理论，就如何更好地进行古诗词现场翻译进行探究。
