中文摘要：随着英语学习潮流的逐步普及以及英语阅读难度的逐渐加深，英语词汇的教学至关重要。初中阶段的英语词汇教学是阅读教学的开端，是检验和衡量学习英语效果的重要指标之一。在当前的英语阅读篇章中常常存在着大量生词，因而大大阻碍了学生的语言习得，因此教师要在英语阅读的教学过程中重点关注词汇的教学，在进行教案设计时要正确的集中处理这些在阅读课文中出现的单词，使用学生易于接受和理解的方法帮助学生掌握词汇从而加深对英语阅读篇章的理解。本文以课堂观察、课堂测验、访谈等形式为研究工具，以期分析英语阅读课中词汇教学的现状，分析问题找出原因，制定方案，从而总结出适合初中生在阅读课中学习词汇的方法策略，以帮助教师提高词汇教学效率和学生阅读理解的水平。让学生在学与练中掌握处理生词的技巧，从而提高阅读课的教学质量。
