The unit takes the future as the topic and future intentions as the task to learn the use of sentence patterns like ‘I work as a ...’ and‘My profession is a...’. Students are asked to be able to use the sentence patterns to talk about their future or dream job.This unit is close to students’ life, which can attract their learning interests. As a consequence, students can have enough chances to express themselves. The focus of this unit is get information to improve their listening and speaking abilities.The difficulty focuses on interaction with their partners.

As junior middle school students enter the eighth grade,with the expand of vocabulary and grammar expression, there are new necessities for students’ oral expression capacity and analyzing potential in the study. It’s easy for them to lose concentration in the class, but they have high enthusiasm in interaction.That may help to create a great classroom atmosphere.Therefore, the design of classroom teaching activities must be based on the situation of students,Cultivating students to develop the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.Most importantly, Teacher should improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.
