一、教材内容分析   

This Unit is one of a series of new target English textbooks Go for it.Unit6 Volume2 grade7.The content of the material is combined with the daily life of the students.The Dragon Boat Festival is taken as a topic and the present continuous tense is used to discuss what is happening. And make an evaluation.at the same time students are made to learn to share their experiences and happiness with others.The content is close to their actual life of the students.The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival,so the students are more interested in it.Because the materials come from the students` daily life,it can also improve class participation.The emphasis is on the teaching of general interrogative sentences and special iterrogative sentences and affirmative and negative answer equations.

二、学习者特征分析

After entering the second semester of the seventh grade,students have a certain English foundation ,language learning ability and language perception ability, which is the advantage of English learning .On the one hand, students have the enthusiasm to  improve English;On the other hand,in the second  semester of Grade 7,students will face a higher level of English language learning.They will learn more about English language and culture.Therefore,as a teacher,students should be encouraged to actively learn and broaden their horizons.So students` interest in learning English should be stimulated,while at the same time with a variety of teaching activities and flexible instructional design, students are encouraged  to carry out in depth.
