一、教材内容分析

This unit is from the textbook of Ren Ai Foreigner language, Book 3, Unit 3. The main topic of this unit is to introduce some daily interest, hobbies and some common behavior habits.

After learning this unit, students will get more good habits and hobbies. Their listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities can also be improved. In addition, students can greatly improve their positive and optimistic attitude towards life.

The first period of this unit is something about What's your hobby? The teaching type of this class are Vocabulary and Speaking and Listening. The main task in this class is to listen to Section A and choose the right answer.  This period is to develop the students’ listening skills such as intensive listening and extensive listening. And encourage students to have a courage to speak English and willing to show themselves in public. After this class, students can understand the topic about the likes and dislikes, and understand the invitation of friends. In terms of oral communication, they can talk about their hobbies correctly.

The second period of this unit is Reading and Practice·. After this class, student will improve their intensive reading and extensive reading skills. Besides, students can make a photograph album by themselves. Their interest in the course will be improved. 

The third period of this unit is Grammar. Students can learn to use the simple past tense and past progressive tense. 

The next period of this unit is Writing. It will teach students to write a poster.

    The last period of this unit is review and practice. Students will review the whole unit’s important points. After several practice, they can remember and use the new knowledge.
